CHAP. 281.— An Act Authorizing the Secretary of Commerce to convey certain land to the county of Muscatine, Iowa. August 22, 1922. [[H. R. 11233](/us/bill/67/hr/11233).] [[Public, No. 282](/us/pl/67/282).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of CommerceFairport, Iowa, fish biological station. Right of way granted across, to Muscatine County. is authorized to convey to the county of Muscatine, Iowa, the following-described land, now a part of the biological station at Fairport, Iowa:
A corner of land in the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section thirty, township seventy-seven north, range one east, fifth principal meridian, described as follows: Beginning at aDescription. point on the southerly line of a sixty-six-foot public road, as now located, where said southerly line intersects the westerly boundary of tract owned by the United States of America; thence south nine-teen degrees thirty minutes east along said westerly boundary of said tract a distance of fifty-six feet; thence north thirty-six degrees thirty minutes east a distance of one hundred and seventy-four feet; thence south fifty-five degrees west a distance of one hundred and fifty feet to point of beginning, containing ninety-two one-thousandths of an acre: *Provided*, That the land authorized to be conveyed hereunder*Provisos*.
Use restricted to highway, etc. shall be used for the construction of and be maintained as a public highway free of any expense to the United States, and all work thereon shall be such as not to interfere with the operations and efficiency of the biological station and in a manner satisfactory to to the Secretary of Commerce: *Provided further*, That in the event ofReversion for non-user. the discontinuance by the county of Muscatine of the use of the 828above-described property as a public highway or the failure to maintain same in a manner satisfactory to the Secretary of Commerce the title to said land shall revert to the United States.
