CHAP. 278.— An Act Making section 1535c of the Code of Law for the District of Columbia applicable to the Municipal Court of the District of Columbia, and for other purposes. March 4, 1923.[[H. R. 13998](/us/bill/67/hr/13998).][[Public, No. 529](/us/67/pl/529).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,District of Columbia.Municipal court.Equitable defenses admitted in actions at law in.Vol. 41, p. 569. That hereafter section 1535c of the Code of Law for the District of Columbia, permitting equitable defenses to be interposed in actions at law, shall be applicable to proceedings now pending in the Municipal Court of the District of Columbia as well as to actions hereafter brought in said court.
