CHAP. 254.— An Act Granting consent of Congress to the Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras Bridge Company for construction of a bridge across the Rio Grande between Eagle Pass, Texas, and Piedras Negras, Mexico. March 4, 1923.[[S. 4592](/us/bill/67/s/4592).][[Public, No. 505](/us/67/pl/505).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Rio Grande.Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras Bridge Company may bridge, Eagle Pass, Tex., to Piedras Negras, Mexico.
That the consent of Congress be, and is hereby, granted to the Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras Bridge Company, a corporation organized under the laws of Texas, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation across the1483Rio Grande between Eagle Pass, Texas, and Piedras Negras, Mexico,Construction.Vol. 31. p. 84. in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906: *Provided*, That the consent of the proper authorities*Proviso*.Consent of Mexico required. of the Republic of Mexico to the construction, maintenance, and operation of the bridge shall also be obtained.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend or repeal this Act isAmendment. hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 4, 1923.
