CHAP. 203.— An Act For the relief of Themis Christ. March 2, 1923.[[H. R. 8046](/us/bill/67/hr/8046).][[Private, No. 221](/us/pvtl/67/221).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Themis Christ.Allowed from employees’ compensation fund, for injuries.Vol. 39, p. 742. That the provisions of the Act approved September 7, 1916, entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States receiving injuries in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes, are hereby extended to Themis Christ for loss of his left leg while employed in the Naval Auxiliary Service, as a result of the wreck of the United States ship Hector in the year 1916, and that he be Disability payments directed.paid such sums to date from the passage of this Act as would properly be due him within the provisions of section 4 of the said Act of September 7, 1916.
The United States Employees’ Compensation Commission is hereby authorized and directed to make payments in compliance with the terms of the said Act of September 17877, 1916, and in accordance with the rules and regulations of said commission. Any money in the United States Treasury not otherwise appropriated is hereby appropriated for the purpose of this Act. Approved, March 2, 1923.
