CHAP. 171.— An Act For the relief of Cornelius Dugan. March 2, 1923.[[H. R. 1290](/us/bill/67/hr/1290).][[Public, No. 458](/us/pl/67/458).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the President Navy.Cornelius Dugan advanced as lieutenant commander, retired.is hereby authorized to advance on the retired list of the Navy, to the rank of lieutenant commander, Cornelius Dugan, who served with credit in the United States Navy during the Civil War and the war with the German Government: *Provided*, That the said *Proviso*.No increase of pay.Cornelius Dugan shall not in consequence of such advancement be entitled to any increase in the pay which he is now receiving as a retired officer of the Navy.
