CHAP. 150.— An Act For the relief of George Van Derburgh Brown. April 26, 1922. [[H. R. 3057](/us/bill/67/hr/3057).] [[Private, No. 48](/us/pvtl/67/48).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, George Van Der burgh Brown. Payment to, for personal injuries and for death of wife. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to George Van Derburgh Brown, of Brookline, Massachusetts, who was severely injured, and whose wife was killed, by being struck by a mail truck in use in the Boston postal district and operated by the Post Office Department, as a result of negligence on the part of the driver, on the night of Sunday, January 2, 1921, the sum of $5,000, from any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
