CHAP. 123.— Joint Resolution To authorize the Secretary of War to incur obligations for construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and trails in Alaska, said obligations to be paid from the appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1923. April 6, 1922.[[H. J. Res. 282](/us/bill/67/hjres/282).][[Pub. Res., No. 45](/us/bill/67/pubres/45).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War isAlaska.Obligations for road construction, etc., fiscal year 1923, allowed prior to July 1, 1922.*Post*, p. 759. authorized to direct the Board of Road Commissioners for Alaska to incur obligations prior to July 1, 1922, for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and trails in Alaska of not to exceed 50 per centum of the appropriation for this purpose for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1922, payment of these obligations to be made from the appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1923.
