CHAP. 87.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the Paris-Hugo Bridge Company to construct a bridge and approaches thereto across Red River, near Arthur City, Lamar County, Texas. October 28, 1919. [[H. R. 8986](/us/bill/66/hr/8986).] [[Public, No. 68](/us/pl/66/68).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consent of Congress Red River.Paris-Hugo Bridge Company may bridge, Arthur City, Tex.is hereby granted to the Paris-Hugo Bridge Company, a corporation, and its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate at a point suitable to navigation interests a bridge and approaches thereto across Red River from a point on its south bank, north of and near Arthur City, in Lamar County, Texas, to a point immediately north of said beginning and located in Choctaw County, Oklahoma, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Amendment. Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby reserved. Received by the President, October 16, 1919. [Note by the Department of State.—The foregoing act having been presented to the President of the United States for his approval, and not having been returned by him to the house of Congress in which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of the United States, has become a law without his approval.]
