CHAP. 84.— An Act To grant the consent of Congress to the Alfords Bridge Company to construct a bridge across the Savannah River. February 21, 1920. [[S. 3722](/us/bill/66/s/3722).] [[Public, No. 145](/us/pl/66/145).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consent of CongressSavannah River.Alfords Bridge Company may bridge Haileys Ferry, Ga. is hereby granted to the Alfords Bridge Company, a partnership, to be composed of the following members, namely:
A. N. Alford, H. I. Alford, and H. B. Alford, of Hart County, Georgia, and their successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Savannah River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Haileys Ferry, in the county of Hart, State of Georgia, on the west, and the county of Anderson, State of South Carolina, on the east, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction ofConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 21, 1920.
