CHAP. 57.— An Act To authorize the building of a bridge across the Wateree River in South Carolina. February 15, 1921. [[S. 4951](/us/bill/66/s/4951).] [[Public, No. 315](/us/pl/66/315).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Wateree River.Bridge authorized across, by State authorities, at Gemers Ferry, S. C. That the State Highway Department of South Carolina and the properly constituted authorities of Richland and Sumter Counties of that State, be, and they are hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Wateree River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, and at or near a point known as Gerners Ferry, between the counties of Sumter and Richland, in the State ofConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84.
South Carolina, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled 1103 “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906. Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 15, 1921.
