R. 9089](/us/bill/66/hr/9089).] [[Public, No. 122](/us/pl/66/122).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Fort Smith, Ark.Site of old Federal Jail granted to.
That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue a patent granting, remissing, releasing, and quitclaiming all right, title, claim, and interest of the United States of America in and to the block or square of land in the city of Fort Smith, in the State of Arkansas, bounded by Second and Third Streets and Rogers and Parker Avenues, fronting three hundred feet on Second and Third Streets and two hundred and ninety and twenty-five one-hundredths feet on Rogers and Parker Avenues, upon which is situated the old Federal Jail, being a part of section eight, township eight north, range thirty-two west, to the city of Fort Smith, Arkansas, in trust, for a site for a convention hall, community building, or other public purposes: *Proviso*.Reversion.*Provided, however*, That if said land shall not be used for such purposes it shall revert to the United States.
