CHAP. 38.— An Act For the construction of a bridge across the Rainy River between Spooner, Minnesota, and Rainy River, Province of Ontario, Canada. August 7, 1919. [[H. R. 5648](/us/bill/66/hr/5648).] [[Public, No. 31](/us/pl/66/31).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consent of Congress Rainy River.Minnesota and Canada may bridge, Spooner, Minn., toRainy River, Ontario.is hereby given for the construction, maintenance, and operation by the State of Minnesota and the Dominion of Canada, jointly, of a bridge to be erected across the Rainy River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, between Spooner, Minnesota, and Rainy River, Province of Ontario, Canada, in accordance with the provisions Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906: *Provided,* That the construction of said *Proviso.*Consent of Canada required.bridge shall not be commenced until the consent of the proper authorities of the Dominion of Canada for the erection of the structure shall have been obtained.
Amendment. Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, August 7, 1919.
