CHAP. 28.— An Act To authorize the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, its successors and assigns, to construct and maintain a bridge across the Alabama River at or near a point approximately four miles from the city of Montgomery, Alabama. January 26, 1921. [[S. 4519](/us/bill/66/s/4519).] [[Public, No. 298](/us/pl/66/298).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Alabama River.Louisville and Nashville Railroad may bridge, near Montgomery, Ala.
That the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, its successors and assigns, be, and they are hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Alabama River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, one end of said bridge to be in the county of Montgomery, Alabama, and the other in the county of Elmore, Alabama, at or near a point approximately four miles from the cityConstruction. Vol. 34, p. 84. of Montgomery, Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, January 26, 1921.
