CHAP. 22.— Joint Resolution Providing for the appointment by each Member of the House of Representatives of two persons, whose names shall be placed on the rolls of employees of the House of Representatives. Res., No. 2](/us/bill/66/pubres/2).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the appropriation in Clerk hire, House of Representatives.Payment to two persons designated by Members, etc., authorized.Vol. 40, p. 1219.the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Appropriation Act, approved March 1, 1919, for clerk hire for Members, Delegates, and Resident 163Commissioners may be paid by the Clerk of the House of Representatives to two persons to be designated by each Member, Delegate, and Resident Commissioner, the names of such persons to be placed upon the roll of employees of the House of Representatives together with the amount to be paid each, and Representatives, Delegates, and Resident Commissioners elect to Congress shall likewise be entitled to make such designations: *Provided,* That such persons *Proviso.*Removal, etc.shall be subject to removal at any time by such Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner with or without cause.
