CHAP. 185.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the National Education Association of the United States” by adding thereto an additional section. May 13, 1920. [[H. R. 10917](/us/bill/66/hr/10917).] [[Public, No. 206](/us/pl/66/206).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* National Education Association.Vol. 34, p. 808, amended. That an Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the National Education Association of the United States,” approved June 30, 1906, be amended by adding an additional section to said Act, which section shall be designated section 12 and shall read as follows:
" “Sec. 12. Representative assembly authorized for active members. That said corporation may provide, by amendment to its by-laws, that the powers of the active members exercised at the annual meeting in the election of officers and the transaction of business shall be vested in and exercised by a representative assembly composed of delegates apportioned, elected, and governed in accordance with the provisions of the by-laws adopted by said corporation.” " Approved, May 13, 1920.
