CHAP. 17.— An Act Authorizing the construction of a bridge and approaches thereto across the Snake River about three miles above its confluence with the Columbia River, near Pasco, Washington. July 11, 1919. [[H. R. 1706](/us/bill/66/hr/1706).] [[Public, No. 16](/us/pl/66/16).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the State of Washington, Snake River.Washington, and Walla Walla and Franklin Counties may bridge, Pasco, Wash.the county of Walla Walla, in the State of Washington, the county of Franklin, in the said State of Washington and the State of Washington, or the said counties of Walla Walla and Franklin, acting jointly, be, and they or either of them are hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Snake River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, along the route of and continuous with the Inland Empire Highway as officially designated by the State highway commissioner of the State of Washington, and about three miles above the confluence of the Snake River with the Columbia River, near Pasco, Washington, in Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby Amendment. expressly reserved. Approved, July 11, 1919.
