Res., No. 23](/us/bill/66/pubres/23).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of theCongressional officers, etc., to be paid December salaries December 20, 1919. Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives are authorized and instructed to pay the officers and employees of the Senate and House of Representatives, including the Capitol police, their respective salaries for the month of December, 1919, on the twentieth day 370Former Resolution escinded.*Ante*, p.368.of said month; and the provisions of the resolution (H.
J. Res. 260) entitled “Joint resolution authorizing the payment of salaries of officers and employees of Congress for December, 1919,” of this session of the Congress be, and the same are hereby, rescinded. Approved, December 20, 1919.
