CHAP. 98.— An Act To amend section one hundred and one of the Judicial Code.June 13, 1918.[[H. R. 5558](/us/bill/65/hr/5558).][[Public, No. 169](/us/pl/65/169) .] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,United States courts.Vol. 36, p. 1122, amended.Vol. 39, p. 927, amended. That section one hundred and one of an Act entitled “An Act to codify, revise, and amend the laws relating to the judiciary,” approved March third, nineteen hundred and eleven, as amended by the Act approved February twentieth, nineteen hundred and seventeen, be, and the same is hereby, amended so as to read as follows:
" “Sec. 101. Oklahoma Judicial districts.Eastern. The State of Oklahoma is divided into two judicial districts, to be known as the eastern and western districts of Oklahoma. The eastern district shall include the territory embraced on the first day of July, nineteen hundred and sixteen, in the counties of Adair, Atoka, Bryan, Craig, Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Coal, Carter, Delaware, Garvin, Grady, Haskell, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Latimer, Le Flore, Love, McClain, Mayes, Muskogee, McIntosh, McCurtain, Murray, Marshall, Nowata, Ottawa, Okmulgee, Okfuskee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Pontotoc, Rogers, Stephens, Terms.*Post*, p. 1184.Sequoyah, Seminole, Tulsa, Washington, and Wagoner.
Terms of the district court for the eastern district shall be held at Muskogee on the first Monday in January, at Vinita on the first Monday in March, at Tulsa on the first Monday in April, at South McAlester on the first Monday in June, at Ardmore on the first Monday in October, and at Chickasha on the first Monday in November of each year. Western.The western district shall include the territory embraced on the first day of July, nineteen hundred and sixteen, in the counties of Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Cimarron, Cleveland, Comanche, Cotton, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Greer, Harmon, Harper, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Lincoln, Logan, Major, Noble, Oklahoma, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, Texas, Tillman, Washita, Woods, and Woodward.
Terms.Terms of the district court for the western district shall be held at Oklahoma City on the first Monday in January, at Enid on the first Monday in March, at Guthrie on the first Monday in May, at Lawton on the first Monday in September, and at Woodward on the second *Proviso*.Rooms at Woodward.Clerks’ offices.Monday in November: *Provided*, That suitable rooms and accommodations for holding court at Woodward are furnished free of expense to the United States. The clerk of the district court for the eastern 605district shall keep his office at Muskogee and the clerk for the western district at Guthrie, and shall maintain an office in charge of himself or a deputy at Oklahoma City.”" Approved, June 13, 1918.
