CHAP. 92.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the county of Halifax, in the State of North Carolina, to construct a bridge across the Roanoke River.March 1, 1919.[[H. R. 15950](/us/bill/65/hr/15950).][[Public, No. 320](/us/pl/65/320).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Roanoke River. Halifax County may bridge, Palmyra, N. C.That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the county of Halifax, in the State of North Carolina, and its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Roanoke River at any point suitable to the interests of navigation between Hills Ferry, near the town of Palmyra, in the county of Halifax, in the State of North Carolina, and the ferry near the town of Halifax, in the county of Halifax, in the State of North Carolina, in accordance Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six.
Sec. 2. Amendment.That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 1, 1919.
