CHAP. 8.— An Act Providing for the purchase of uniforms, accouterments, and equipment by officers of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, and midshipmen at the Naval Academy from the Government at cost. January 12, 1919. [[H. R. 12945](/us/bill/65/hr/12945).] [[Public, No. 248](/us/pl/65/248).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Uniforms, etc., may be purchased at cost by officers, etc.
That hereafter uniforms, accouterments, and equipment shall, upon the request of any officer of the Navy or any officer of the Marine Corps or any officer of the Coast Guard while operating with the Navy or any midshipman at the Naval Academy or cadets at the Coast Guard Academy, be furnished by the Government at cost, subject to such restrictions and regulations as the Secretary of the Navy may prescribe. Approved, January 12, 1919.
