CHAP. 8.— An Act To increase the number of midshipmen at the Naval Academy until September first, nineteen hundred and eighteen.April 25, 1917.[[H. R. 2339](/us/bill/65/hr/1).][[Public, No. 7](/us/pl/65/1).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Naval Academy.Additional midshipmen allowed for Members of Congress.Vol. 39, p. 9.That, in addition to the number of midshipmen now authorized by law, there shall be appointed during the period from the date of passage of this Act until September first, nineteen hundred and eighteen, one additional midshipman Nominations.for each Senator, Representative, and Delegate in Congress.
Nominations shall be made for these vacancies by the Senators, Representatives, and Delegates concerned for any regular or special examination that may be ordered before that date. Approved, April 25, 1917.
