CHAP. 32.— An Act To amend section fifteen hundred and seventy of the Revised Statutes of the United States. March 29, 1918.[[S. 3130](/us/bill/65/s/3130).][[Public, No. 112](/us/pl/65/112).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section fifteen hundred Navy.[R. S., sec. 1570, p. 269, amended](/us/rs/s1570/p269).and seventy of the Revised Statutes of the United States be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows:
" “Sec. 1570. Every seaman, landsman, or marine who performs Additional pay to seamen, etc., serving as firemen.the duty of a fireman on board any vessel of war shall be entitled to receive, in addition to his compensation as seaman, landsman, 500or marine, a compensation at the rate of 33 cents a day for the time he is employed as fireman.” " Approved, March 29, 1918.
