Chap. XXVII.— An Act appropriating a sum of money for the repair of the postroads between Jackson and Columbus in the state of Mississippi. April 20, 1826. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, * Appropriation for the repair of the post-road between Jackson and Columbus, Miss. That the sum of fifteen thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated, for the repair of the post-road in the Indian country, between Jackson and Columbus, in the state of Mississippi, to be expended under the direction of the Postmaster General; and that the said sum of money be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
