Chap. XLI.— An Act making further appropriations for compensation and mileage to the members of the Senate and House of Representatives. May 13, 1826. [Obsolete.] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, * Compensation and mileage granted by law to the members of the Senate and House of Representatives, &c. That the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, for the compensation and mileage, granted by law to the members of the Seriate and House of Representatives, and delegates of territories; and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
