LXV.— An Act declaring the consent if Congress to certain acts of the state if Alabama.May 13, 1824. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* ThatConsent of Congress given to the acts of the general assembly of Alabama, of the 30th and 31st Dec., 1823. the consent of Congress be, and hereby is, granted to the operation of an act of the general assembly of the state of Alabama, passed on the thirtieth of December, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-three, entitled “An act to improve the navigation of the Coosa river, and to aid in its connection with the Tennessee waters and, also, to an act, passed on the thirty-first of December, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-three, entitled “An act to improve the navigation of the Tennessee river.
