Chap. CXXXVI.— An Act to regulate the summoning of grand jurors, in the district courts. May 20, 1826. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, * The clerks of the district courts are not to summon a grand jury, That, from and after the first day of August next, the clerks of the district courts of the United States shall not issue a process to summon, or cause to be returned to NINETEENTH CONGRESS.
