Chap. CLXII.— An Act relating to the orphans’ courts in the District of Columbia. May 29, 1830. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, * Judge’s salary, 800 dollars. That, from and after the pas- TWENTY-FIRST CONGRESS. Sess. I. Ch. 163, 179. 1830. 417 sage of this act, the Secretary of the Treasury pay to the judge of the orphans’ court of Alexandria county, in the District of Columbia, in quarterly payments, out of any unappropriated money in the treasury, the sum of eight hundred dollars per annum, in lieu of all other compensation for his services as judge of said court.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted, *That, from and after the passage of this act, the Secretary of the Treasury pay to the judge of the orphans’ court of Washington county, in the District of Columbia, in quarterly payments, out of any unappropriated money in the treasury, the sum of1,000 dollars. appropriated. one thousand dollars per annum, in lieu of all other compensation for his services as judge of said court. Approved, May 29, 1830.
