Chap. CII.— An Act limiting the times of advertising the sales of the public lands.June 28, 1834. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Sales to be advertised not less than three, nor more than six months. States of America, in Congress assembled,* That hereafter the public lands which shall be exposed to public sale by order of the President of the United States, shall be advertised for a period of not less than three nor more than six months prior to the day of sale, any thing in any law heretofore enacted to the contrary notwithstanding.
