CHAP. 80.— JOINT RESOLUTION To continue in effect the provisions of the Act of March ninth, nineteen hundred and six. April 17, 1916.[[H. J. Res. 171](/us/bill/64/hjres/171).][[Pub. Res., No. 14](/us/bill/64/pubres/14).] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Act entitled “An Confederate soldiers rand sailors. Marking graves of, who died in northern prisons.Act to provide for the appropriate marking of the graves of the soldiers and sailors of the Confederate Army and Navy who died in northern prisons and were buried near the prisons where they died, Vol. 34, p. 56. and for other purposes,” approved March ninth, nineteen hundred and six; and continued in full force and effect for two years by joint Vol. 35, p. 567.resolution approved February twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred and eight; and for the additional period of one year by a joint resolution Vol. 36, pp. 875, 1453.approved on February twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and ten; and 53for the additional period of two years by a joint resolution approved December twenty-third, nineteen hundred and ten; and for the further additional period of two years by a joint resolution approved Vol. 38, p. 768.March fourteenth, nineteen hundred and fourteen, be, and the same Time continued. is hereby, continued in full force and effect for two years from the expiration of the present continuation, March thirteenth, nineteen hundred and sixteen; and the unexpended balance of the appropriation made by said Act of March ninth, nineteen hundred and six, is continued and made applicable for expenditure during the additional *Provisos.* Details required. period of two years herein provided for: *Provided,* That the triplicate registers provided for in the original Act shall include the time and Pay of commissionerplace of death of each Confederate soldier prisoner of war: *Provided further,* That the compensation of the commissioner shall be fixed by the Secretary of War.
