CHAP. 460.— An Act To authorize the county of Luzerne, State of Pennsylvania, to construct a bridge across the North Branch of the Susquehanna River from the city of Wilkes-Barre, county of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, to the borough of Dorranceton, county of Luzerne, Pennsylvania. September 7, 1916.[[H. R. 17567](/us/bill/64/hr/17567).][[Public, No. 269](/us/pl/64/269).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the county of Luzerne,North Branch of Susquehanna River.Luzerne County, Pa., may bridge, Wilkes-Barre.
State of Pennsylvania, be, and it is hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the North Branch of the Susquehanna River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, from the city of Wilkes-Barre, county of Luzerne, and State of Pennsylvania, to the borough of Dorranceton, in the county of Luzerne, State of Pennsylvania, at or in prolongation of Market Street, as the same is now established and used in the respective municipalities, to replace the present structure erected at the same location, in accordance with the provisions of the ActConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, September 7, 1916.
