CHAP. 429.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Civil War and certain widows and dependent children of soldiers and sailors of said war. August 31, 1916.[[H. R. 15048](/us/bill/64/hr/15048).][[Private, No. 144](/us/pl/64/144).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pensions. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— Pension increased.
Laura E. Headington. The name of Laura E. Headington, widow of John W. Headington, late of Company H, and major, One hundredth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of $25 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. 1397 The name of Robert H. Wood, helpless and dependent child of Pension. Robert H. Wood. William P. Wood, late of Company F, Second Regiment Missouri Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $12 per month. The name of John Brin, late of Company G, First Battalion Minnesota Pensions increased.
