CHAP. 386.— An Act For the relief of J. M. Potter. August 21, 1916.[[H. R. 9375](/us/bill/64/hr/9375).][[Private, No. 125](/us/pl/64/125).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, J. M. Potter. Payment to, for injuries. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, to J. M. Potter, of Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky, the sum of $140, as a reimbursement for expenses incurred for surgical and medical aid and hospital fees in having wounds treated which were received while in the discharge of his duties as deputy United States marshal, and for loss of time, suffering, and permanent disability resulting from said wounds.
