CHAP. 266.— An Act For the relief of the heirs of Hundley V. Fowler, deceased. August 1, 1916.[[H. R. 8787](/us/bill/64/hr/8787).][[Private, No. 65](/us/pvtl/64/65).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Hundley V. Fowler.Payment to heirs of. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the heirs of Hundley V.
Fowler, deceased, the sum of $2,202.83, for services rendered in carrying mail on route numbered eighty-six hundred and ninety-seven, in the State of Texas, from January first, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, to May thirty-first, eighteen hundred and sixty-one: *Proviso*.Limit on attorneys’ fees. *Provided*, That the Secretary of the Treasury shall require, before making payment, from all attorneys having a contract with the said heirs of Hundley V. Fowler for attorney’s fees, a waiver of all the said fees in excess of twenty per centum.
