CHAP. 249.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the county of Sumter, or to the county of Dooly, both of the State of Georgia, acting jointly or separately, and their successors and assigns, to construct a bridge across the Flint River. July 17, 1916[[H. R. 16287](/us/bill/64/hr/16287)][[Public, No. 162](/us/pl/64/162)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consent of CongressFlint River.Sumter or Dooley Counties, Ga., may bridge, Murray’s Ferry. is hereby granted to the county of Sumter, or to the county of Dooly, both of the State of Georgia, acting jointly or separately, and their successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Flint River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Murrays Ferry, Georgia, inConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, July 17, 1916.
