CHAP. 186.— An Act Authorizing the commissioners of the Red River Bridge District to construct a bridge across the Red River at or near Index, Texas. March 4, 1917.[[S. 8228](/us/bill/64/s/8228).][[Public, No. 397](/us/pl/64/397).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Red River.Red River Bridge district may bridge, Index, Tex.That the commissioners of the Red River Bridge District be, and they are hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto over the Red River at or near Index, Texas, for railroad and other traffic at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, in accordance withConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved.Amendment. Approved, March 4, 1917.
