CHAP. 16.— AN ACT Authorizing the Seaboard Air Line Railway Company, a corporation, to construct and operate a bridge, and approaches thereto, across what is known as “Back River,” a part of the Savannah River, at a point between Jasper County, South Carolina, and Chatham County, Georgia. January 26, 1916.[[H. R. 7611](/us/bill/64/hr/7611).][[Public, No. 11](/us/pl/64/11).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Seaboard Air Line Back River.
Seaboard Air Line Railway Company may bridge, near Savannah, Ga.Railway Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Virginia, its successors and assigns, be, and is hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across what is known as Back River, a part of 7the Savannah River, near the city of Savannah, Georgia, at or near the plantation of J. Heyward Lynah, in Jasper County, South Carolina, to the shore opposite thereto in Chatham County, Georgia, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, in accordance with Construction.
