CHAP. 156.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Civil War and certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors. March 2, 1917.[[S. 8113](/us/bill/64/s/8113).][[Private, No. 208](/us/pvtl/64/208).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pensions. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— Pensions increased.
Clara Talbot. The name of Clara Talbot, widow of George W. Talbot, late of Company E, Tenth Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. C. Ella Hartwell. The name of C. Ella Hartwell, widow of Charles Hartwell, late of Company D, Twenty-sixth Regiment New York Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. John Fleegle. The name of John Fleegle, late of Company B, Fifth Regiment Pennsylvania Reserves Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $40 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
William J. Pfaff. The name of William J. Pfaff, late of Company A, and quartermaster sergeant, One hundred and first Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $36 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Hill, the name of said Mary Agnes Hill shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of $12 per month from and after the date of death of said Mary C.
