CHAP. 262.— An Act For the relief of Mary Cornick.August 21, 1914.[[H. R. 10460](/us/bill/63/hr/10460).][[Private, No. 124](/us/pvtl/63/124).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Mary Comick.Payment to, death of husband.That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay Mary Comick, widow of Peter Comick, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $642.40, said Peter Comick having been killed on the second day of December, anno Domini nineteen hundred and one, while employed in the steam engineering department at the navy yard at Norfolk, Virginia, through no negligence *Proviso*.No attorney's fee, etc.on his part, in the line of his duty: *Provided*, That no agent, attorney, firm of attorneys, or any persons engaged heretofore or hereafter in preparing, presenting, or prosecuting this claim shall directly or indirectly receive or retain for such service in preparing, presenting, or prosecuting such claim, or for any act whatsoever in connection with this claim, any fee or compensation whatsoever.
