CHAP. 24.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Civil War and certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors.February 19, 1914.[[S. 834](/us/bill/63/s/834).][[Private, No. 6](/us/pvtl/63/6).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Pensions.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— The name of Charles J.
Esty, late of Company H, Tenth Regiment Pensions increased.Charles J. Esty.New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $40 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of Mary A. Price, widow of Francis H. Price, late of Mary A. Price.Company A, Eightieth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. The name of Margaret Staton, widow of Reuben Staton, late of Margaret Staton.Company C, Tenth Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of $24 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: *Provided*, That in the event of the death of Ernest M. *Provisos*.Increase to cease on death of child.Staton, helpless and dependent child of said Reuben Staton, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: *And provided further*, That in the event of the death of Margaret Staton Pension to child on death of mother.1240the name of the said Ernest M.
Staton shall be placed on the pension, roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of $12 per month, from and after the date of death of said Margaret Staton.
