CHAP. 22.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Civil War and certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors. February 19, 1914.[[S. 832](/us/bill/63/s/832).][[Private, No. 4](/us/pvtl/63/4).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pensions. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— Pensions Increased.James N.
Culton.The name of James N. Culton, late of Company D, Third Regiment, and first lieutenant Company D, Seventh Regiment, Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $50 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Hiram Lay.The name of Hiram Lay, late of Company B, National Guards East Tennessee, and pay him a pension at the rate of $30 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. William L. Brown.The name of William L. Brown, late of Company A, First Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $50 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
Emanuel Sandusky.The name of Emanuel Sandusky, late of Company C, Thirtieth Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Mounted Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $40 per month in lieu of that lie is now receiving. Harvey Key.The name of Harvey Key, late of Company F, Sixth Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $50 per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Pension.William F. Niederriter.The name of William F. Niederriter, late of Company A, Ninety-eighth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of $12 per month.
Pension increased.Mary J. Swift.The name of Mary J. Swift, widow of Thomas W. Swift, junior, late acting ensign, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of $20 per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, February 19, 1914.
