CHAP. 215.— An Act Making appropriations to supply deficiencies in appropriations for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and fourteen and for prior years, and for other purposes.July 29, 1914.[[H. DEPARTMENT OF STATE.Department of State. To pay the cost of the transportation of diplomatic and consular Transportation, diplomatic and consular officers.officers in going to and returning from their posts, or when traveling under orders of the Secretary of State, at the rate of 5 cents per mile, but not including any expenses incurred in connection with leaves of absence, $25,000. To enable the President to meet unforeseen emergencies arising in Emergencies.the Diplomatic and Consular Service, and to extend the commercial and other interests of the United States, and to meet the necessary expenses attendant upon the execution of the neutrality Act, to be Neutrality Act expenses.[R.
