CHAP. 80.— An Act Appropriating three hundred thousand dollars for the purpose of maintaining and protecting against the impending flood the levees on the Mississippi River and rivers tributary thereto.April 16, 1912.[[H. That, the sum of three hundred thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War in accordance with the plans, specifications, and recommendations of the Mississippi River Commission, as approved by the Chief of Engineers, for the purpose of maintaining and protecting against the impending flood the levees on the Mississippi River and rivers tributary thereto.
