CHAP. 43.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to prohibit the passage of local or special laws in the Territories of the United States, to limit Territorial indebtedness, and for other purposes.” August 22, 1911.[[S. 2541](/us/bill/62/s/2541).][[Public, No. 42](/us/pl/62/42).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That section four of the ActTerritorial legislatures.Limit of indebtedness of counties, etc.Vol. 24, p. 171, amended. entitled “An Act to prohibit the passage of local or special laws in the Territories of the United States, to limit Territorial indebtedness, and for other purposes,” approved July thirtieth, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, be, and the same is hereby, amended as follows, to wit, by adding to said section the following:
“*Provided,* That the prohibitions and limitations contained in thisNot applicable to irrigation districts. section shall not be construed to apply to irrigation districts heretofore or hereafter organized in accordance with Territorial laws.” Approved, August 22, 1911.
