CHAP. 261.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Regular Army and Navy, and certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the Civil War, and certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors.July 30, 1912.[[S. 6340](/us/bill/62/s/6340).][[Private, No. 65](/us/pvtl/62/65).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Pensions. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— The name of Andrew J.
Laws, late of Company C, Second RegimentPensions increased.Andrew J. Laws. Washington Mounted Volunteers, Oregon and Washington Territory Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of John T. Peel, late of Company A, Thirty-sixth RegimentJohn T. Peel. United States Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of Robert S.
Kariho, late of Company E, Thirty-eighthRobert S. Kariho. Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of Rachel T. Beck, widow of William H. Beck, late lieutenantRachel T. Beck. colonel Third Regiment United States Cavalry, and brigadier general. United States Army, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. 1284 Williams.
Sterling.The name of William H. Sterling, late of Company K, First Regiment Colorado Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Pension.John Lehr,The name of John Lehr, late of Company D, Third Regiment New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Pensions increased.Willson G. Nowers.The name of Willson G. Nowers, late of Captain Hancock’s company of Cavalry, Nauvoo Legion, Utah Volunteers, Utah Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
Winfield S. Gibbs.The name of Winfield S. Gibbs, late of Captain John Guess’s company, Minute Men, Second Regiment Oregon Mounted Volunteers, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that lieu is now receiving. Marcellus Moore,The name of Marcellus Moore, late of Captain Bagby’s company, Texas Mounted Volunteers, Texas and New Mexico Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
