CHAP. 260.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Regular Army and Navy, and certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the Civil War, and to certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors.July 30, 1912.[[S. 5623](/us/bill/62/s/5623).][[Private, No. 64](/us/pvtl/62/64).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Pensions. That the Secretary of the Interior be, anti he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— Pension.Alfred Fancher.The name of Alfred Fancher, late of Company F, Forty-third Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.
Pensions increased.George W. Simmons.The name of George W. Simmons, late of Captain Swindal’s company, Second Regiment Washington Mounted Volunteer Infantry, Oregon and Washington Territory Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. John W. Barnes.The name of John W. Barnes, late of Company II, First Regiment Nebraska Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in Heu of that he is now receiving.
Thomas Gorman.The name of Thomas Gorman, late of Company B, First Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Pension.Alan P. Wilson.The name of Alan P. Wilson, late of Company I, Second Regiment Virginia Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Pension increased.John H. Mumaw.The name of John H. Mumaw, late of Company I, Eighth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
Pension.Richard Burnside.The name of Richard Burnside, late of Company C, Thirty-eighth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of ten dollars per month. Pensions increased.James Petree.The name of James Petree, late of Captain W. H. Latshaw’s company, Second Regiment Oregon Mounted Volunteers, Oregon and Washington Territory Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in Heu of that ho is now receiving. Bertha B. Byrne.The name of Bertha B.
Byrne, widow of Bernard A. Byrne, late lieutenant colonel Fortieth Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay her a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of each of the minor children of said Bernard A. Byrne until they reach the age of sixteen years. 1283 The name of George Berry, late of Company H, First RegimentGeorge Berry. Montana Volunteer Infantry, War with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
