CHAP. 241.— An Act Providing for the sale of the Lemhi School and Agency plant and lands on the former Lemhi Reservation in the State of Idaho. July 19, 1912.[[H. R. 20684](/us/bill/62/hr/20684).][[Public, No. 231](/us/pl/62/231).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Lemhi Indian Reservation. Idaho.Sale of agency and such of lends, etc., of former. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to cause to be sold, under such regulations, terms, and conditions as he may prescribe, the unappropriated school and agency lands on the former Lemhi Indian Reservation in the.
State of Idaho, described as follows: NorthwestDescription. quarter, northwest quarter southwest quarter, section twenty-eight, northeast quarter northeast quarter, west half southwest quarter northeast quarter, east half southeast quarter northeast quarter, excepting one acre of ground and the building thereon to be sold to the school board of district numbered twenty-six, Lemhi County, Idaho; lot one, northwest quarter southeast quarter, south half southeast quarter, section twenty-nine, township eighteen north, range twenty-four east, Boise meridian, containing four hundred and thirty-four acres, together with the buildings thereon, and to convey the same by patent or patents in fee simple to the purchaser or purchasers: *Provided*, That the State of Idaho shall be given the preference*Proviso*.Preference to State of Idaho. right for one year from and after the passage of this Act to purchase said lands, together with the buildings, at the present appraised value thereof.
