CHAP. 235.— An Act To confer concurrent jurisdiction on the police court of the District of Columbia in certain cases. July 16, 1912.[[S. 5271](/us/bill/62/s/5271).][[Public, No. 226](/us/pl/62/226).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, District of Columbia.Police court.Jurisdiction extended to affrays, etc. That the police court of the District of Columbia shall have jurisdiction, concurrently with the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, of affrays and the keeping 193 of a bawdy or disorderly house, and any person convicted of such anPunishment for. offense shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
Sec. 2. That said police court shall also have concurrent jurisdictionThreats to do bodily harm. with said supreme court of threats to do bodily harm, and any person convicted of such offense shall be required to give bond toPunishment for. keep the peace for a period not exceeding six months, and in default of bond may be sentenced to imprisonment not exceeding six months.
