CHAP. 233.— An Act To authorize the President of the United States to appoint Robert H. Peck a captain in the Army. July 12, 1912.[[S. 6636](/us/bill/62/s/6636).][[Public, No. 224](/us/pl/62/224).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Army.Robert H. Peck may be appointed captain of Infantry. That the President of the United States in his discretion be, and he is hereby, authorized to appoint Robert H.
Peck to the grade of captain of Infantry, United States Army, to take rank at the foot of the list of captains of Infantry; and that no back pay or allowances shall accrue as a result of the passageNo back pay, etc. of this Act; and that there shall be no increase in the total number of officers now authorized by law by reason of the passage of this Act.
