CHAP. 227.— An Act Authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to convey to the board of education of New Hanover County, North Carolina, portion of marine-hospital reservation not needed for marine-hospital purposes. July 10, 1912.[[S. 6603](/us/bill/62/s/6603).][[Public, No. 221](/us/pl/62/221).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Wilmington, N. C.Part of marine-hospital tract, conveyed for industrial-school purposes.
That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to convey to the board of education of New Hanover County, State of North Carolina, the following-described tract of land, being a portion of the marine-hospital reservation in the city of Wilmington, which, in the opinion of the Secretary of the Treasury, is no longer needed for marine-hospital purposes, to wit, thirty-four and one-tenth acres of land, more or less, covering six whole and three one-half city blocks, lying east of Tenth Street, in the city of Wilmington, county of New Hanover, and State of North Carolina, such conveyance to be upon condition that the land shall be used exclusively for industrial-school purposes, the title thereof to revert to the United States if at any timeReversion for non-user. the land or any building erected thereon shall no longer be used for such purpose.
