CHAP. 190.— An Act For the relief of the Winnebago Indians of Nebraska and Wisconsin. July 1, 1912.[[H. R. 18849](/us/bill/62/hr/18849).][[Public, No. 208](/us/pl/62/208).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Winnebago Indians.Distribution of tribal funds to, per capita.Vol, 35, p. 798. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized when the amount of tribal funds duo the Winnebagoes in Wisconsin shall have been ascertained, in accordance with the enrollment as hereinafter provided, to expend said funds for their benefit in such manner, including the purchase of lands for said Indians, as he may deem proper, or, in his discretion, to distribute said funds, or any part thereof, per capita among said Indians: *Provided*, That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby*Provisos*.Adjustment of differences. authorized to adjust the differences, not already provided for by statute, between the two branches of the tribe, arising from errors in the payment of annuities, and to settle the same before the final division of the trust funds is made: *Provided further*, That a specialCensus for distribution. census of the two branches of the Winnebago Tribe shall be taken as of June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twelve, and that the final division of the capitalized funds of the tribe shall be based upon the number of persons belonging to each branch who are alive on that date.
